On May 26th 2019, Zhejiang Ocean Family hosts the “first global fresh bluefin tuna tasting and promotion conference” in Beijing. Seven bluefin tunas from the world’s best bluefin tuna farming places of origin, including Japan, Australia, Spain and etc., unprecedentedly gather together at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Beijing, becoming a big event of the high-end seafood industry.
During the tasting and promotion conference, together with China Hospitality Association, Japanese Culinary Association, Japan Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan Nissui Corporation, Japan Maruha Nichiro Corporation, Japan Kaneko Corporation, Japan TAFCO Corporation, Australia STEHR GROUP, Ocean Family demonstrates the top-grade fresh bluefin tuna from different places of origin, and conduct the blind tasting. Tunas produced by different waters, currents and aquaculture technologies have their own merits, but none of them is not a quality product. A 200KG Mediterranean-bred bluefin tuna from Spain becomes the heaviest player on the event. The Marine Tuna, under the flag of the Maruha Nichiro Corporation, wins the first prize, after being scored blindly by the judges composed of representatives of the catering industry and the media.
