Mr. Zengyuexiang, the general manager of Zhejiang Ocean Family, is reappointed to be the chairman of Zhejiang Provincial Distant Water Fisheries Association

On 8^th January, the 4^th member conference of Zhejiang Provincial Distant Water Fisheries Association is successfully held in Hangzhou. The conference selects the chairman, deputy chairman, secretary-general and etc. of the 4^th session of the association. Mr. Zengyuexiang, the general manager of Zhejiang Ocean Family, is voted to be the chairman of the 4^th leadership team of the association, has been continuously selected to be the chairman for 4 times. More than one hundred persons, including Mr. Shenrenhua, the deputy director of Zhejiang Province Ocean and Fisheries Bureau, Mr. Yanyinyang, the deputy inspector of Zhejiang Province Ocean and Fisheries Bureau, leaders from Zhejiang Province Civil Affairs Bureau and relevant divisions of Zhejiang Province Ocean and Fisheries Bureau, and representatives from 50 member enterprises of the association, attend this conference.   

During the conference, Mr. Zengyuexiang, representing the previous board of management of the association, makes the working report ‘stably pursue the progress, do the real work, take the leadership, and bravely stand in the forefront: sail on the same tack to construct the strong province of distant water fisheries’: review and summarize the works and achievements that have been made by the association during the last 4 years, and propose the recommendations for the next session of the association. The report points out: for the next step, need to change the mindset of the development, promote the construction of the management scheme of modern distant water fisheries enterprises; leverage the advantage of coordination, organize the grouping development; demonstrate the advantage of communication, exploit the service field; utilize the advantage of information, strengthen the resource integration; develop the talents, enhance the quality of the crew.

Meanwhile, representing the new leadership team, Mr. Zeng makes the position speech: express the thanks for the support from Zhejiang Province Ocean and Fisheries Bureau, Zhejiang Province Civil Affairs Bureau, and other government agencies; emphasis that in line with the national strategy, need to timely adjust the development strategy of the distant water fisheries industry, change the development form, promote the restructuring and upgrading, and hope that the government can carry out the policies to drive the healthy development of the distant water fisheries industry, shifting the development focus in our province from the expansion of the scale to the increase of the quality, focusing to “build up strong modern distant water fisheries enterprises, which is controlled by the strict management scheme”, and gradually realizing to transition from a big distant water fisheries province to a strong distant water fisheries province.
