On 12th September, Mr. Zhongxiaojin, the deputy director of the Bureau of the Inspection of Fishing Vessels of the Ministry of Agriculture of P.R.C., leads the group, which includes leaders from provincial and municipal bureau of ocean and fisheries and the bureau of the inspection of fishing vessels, to have the investigation on the company, and to strengthen the interaction with enterprises at the frontline.
Within 2 days, the group continuous the work: have the boarding on Xiangfa 8 and Shunfa 8 purse seining fishing vessels, which are under maintenance at the port, to know the upgrade situation of the vessels and safety management and inspection situation of the vessels; have the on-site visit at locations such as super-frozen tuna processing base and etc., to research the development situation of seafood business development.
During the meeting at the company’s headquarters, Mr. Zhong listens to the reporting from the firm’s general manager and the operating team of distant water fishing management and operation, regarding the brief situation of the company, the smart management system of distant water fishing vessels, advices about the development and policies of ocean fisheries and etc. Other investigation group members from provincial and municipal bureau of ocean and fisheries and the bureau of the inspection of fishing vessels also have the effective interaction with the management team of Ocean Family.
Based on the overall communication, Mr. Zhong emphasizes that this investigation is worthwhile. He once planned to have the visit to Ocean Family 3 years ago. But it didn’t work out. His colleagues had the visits. This time, he harvests a lot based on his own visit, has more similar feeling like his colleagues who carried out the previous visits, praises that Ocean Family is the forerunner within the country’s tuna industry, the leader of the smart management system of the distant water fishing vessels, and the pioneering team to enhance the national ocean fishery strategy, and underlines that enterprises should be confident for the country’s development for the ocean fisheries. Sticking to “Belt & Road strategy”, the Bureau of the Inspection of Fishing Vessels will roll out the pilot try and test measures at Ocean Family, trying to achieve results of “2 creations” and supporting the development of Ocean Family.
