On September 29^th, our company and Zhejiang Ocean University host the signing ceremony of the directed joint-training agreement at the academic report hall of the library of Zhejiang Ocean University. The authority of the university presides over the ceremony. Leaders from both sides make speeches. The ceremony of appointing Mr. Zengyuexiang, the general manager of the company, as the visiting professor of the university is also conducted. More than 150 people, including Mr. Zengyuexiang, Mr. Zhanwei, the deputy general manager of the company, and Mr. Wuchangwen, the dean of Zhejiang Ocean University and his colleagues such as the dean of School of Marine Fisheries & Maritime School, the dean of School of Food and Pharmacy & Medical School, and etc., participate in the ceremony.

    Zhejiang Ocean University is a common institution of higher education which distinguishes itself with the feature of fishery and marine, and harmoniously develops other disciplines such as science, agriculture, engineering, literature, economics, management and etc. the university was founded in 1958. Currently, Zhejiang Ocean University is the common institution of higher education which includes the biggest number of marine-related disciplines and owns the largest number of marine-related teachers in Zhejiang province. At December of 2009, The Ministry of Agriculture approved Ocean Family and Zhejiang Ocean University to jointly setup the sub-national R&D center of processing technology of cephalopod. And at July of 2010, focusing on the fishing and processing technologies of high-end seafood products, both sides jointly establish Zhejiang transformation and application platform of ocean fishery technologies, further promoting the development and utilization of marine resources while providing the practice base for students of the university.

    The progress of signing this agreement lasts around half year. After several rounds of negotiation, the agreement is successfully signed. According to the agreement, both sides will form the steering committee of this school-enterprise cooperation program. The training program will introduce “3+1” model, which means that students under the program will have 3 years studying at Zhejiang Ocean University and then learn enterprise-related courses, complete professional production practice, graduation practice and graduation essay and etc. at Ocean Family during the 4^th year of the program. After graduation, students will be hired by our company.

    The “school integrates with enterprise; front school + back enterprise” model is currently the new idea and model to develop talents. It’s also the “must take” route to develop the higher education. The signing of this joint-training agreement is pursuing to create new model of cultivation of talents, strengthen the cooperation between the university and the enterprise, and facilitate the development of practical talents. Based on the principle of complementary strengths and mutual benefits, both parties will actively create the conditions to realize the solid cooperation between two strong parties and further promote bilateral close cooperation in production, study, and research.
