On 19th July, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan (MAFF) hosts the “the taste and experience event of Japanese food materials” at Garden Hotel Shanghai. During the event, several popular food materials are carefully selected for demonstration, to further present the charm of Japanese food culture. Ocean Family’s Japanese fresh fishes attract lots of attentions. Enterprises from each industry, such as aquatic, processed food, snack, Japanese alcohol, and etc.,, attend this event.
Mr. Yuji Yamamoto, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, hosts the event, specially coming from Japan to Shanghai, visits Ocean Family’s booth, tastes the mackerel Nigiri Sushi, made by “Nagasaki fresh fish” solely distributed by Ocean Family, and also friendly talks with Mr. Zengbo, the general manager of Shanghai Daling Food Corporation, and Mr. Kawamoto Katsuaki, the chief of Nagasaki Fish Market Co., Ltd.,.
During the event, the head chef of Garden Hotel Shanghai selects Ocean Family’s Japanese fresh fishes as main materials to make dishes, demonstrating the styles of fresh fish sashimi and other seafood delicacies, which represent Japanese food culture. With the unique layout and placement, the charm of fresh fishes is promoted to the highest level. Having the oncoming special glamour and beauty of Japanese food, this feast of sight and taste brings the cool feeling for this warm summer day: even the unrestrained sunshine, with the 40℃ temperature, couldn’t deter audience’s enthusiasm for this feast.
