On 11th July, the press briefing of the strategic cooperation of Tmall & Ocean Family is held at Hangzhou Xixi Zone of Alibaba. Several medias, such as Xinhua News Agency, China Economic Times, imaijia.com and etc., attend the press briefing. During the press briefing, the company signs the strategic cooperation agreement with Fresh Food of Tmall, forging the foundation for the joint-development of relevant fresh products. This is the third time that the company signs the agreement with e-commerce fresh food platform, on the heel of signing agreements with womai.com of COFCO and Fresh Food of JD.com.
At early May this year, the president of Argentina met Jack Ma of Alibaba in the presidential palace. Afterwards, the Argentine government signed the strategic cooperation agreement with Alibaba immediately, opening the new cooperation situation for Tmall and Ocean Family. The company has the fishing fleet in Argentina, annually providing 30 thousand tons good quality seafood resources such as squid, Argentina red shrimp, and etc. While consolidating and enhancing the fishing fleet in Argentina, the company will have more diversified Argentine good quality seafood in various forms, continuously expand the operation scale of seafood, expecting to reach the sales revenue of 1 billion RMB in domestic market this year, and increase the brand influence of Ocean Family. The company will constantly search and deepen the cooperation with diversified and tridimensional marketing channels including e-commerce platforms, providing high-quality seafood to tables of consumers.
