On May 18th, many people are gethering at Ocean Family’s conference room in Hangzhou, with the warm atmosphere. It’s to be found that the minister of Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources Development of Republic of Kiribati, relevant officers of this ministry, and managing directors of the fishery corporation of Kiribati are discussing with leaders from Zhejiang Province Ocean and Fishery Bureau and Zhejiang Overseas Fishery Association, Mr. Zengyuexiang, the general manger of Ocean Family, and other relevant people, to further deeepen the cooperation on seafood resources.
In September last year, the minister immediately visited Ocean Family, after taking his position, and investigated the company’s projects in Zhoushan and Ningbo, praising Ocean Family’s management, business models, experience and etc. He confirmed that the visit achieved good results, with many inspirations. On May this year, the minister leads the team to come again, with the expectation to further strengthen the cooperation with Ocean Family on resources, technologies, projects, and etc.
Aiming to promote and optimize the cooperation projects, both parties have the solid discussion in terms of the next step to develop the fishery in Kiribati, and have the expectations about the future of the deveopment. (Figure: the discussion between two parties) |
